Evan E. Phillips

English Department Chair, Senior English Teacher

Education: Morehouse College, University of Notre Dame

About: I am a proud Atlantian, but I am New Orleanian by way of family roots. After receiving my BA in English at Morehouse College, I went on to obtain my Masters of Education from the University of Notre Dame. While attending Notre Dame, I was sent to teach at a Catholic school in Memphis for two years, as it was a part of the program. Upon graduation, I moved to New Orleans in 2018 to teach AP English at St. Aug, and there is no place I would rather be. I will graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a Masters of Educational Leadership in the summer of 2021.
