Job Category Definition:

Responsible for the organization, development, and leadership of the football program in support of the mission and core values of St. Augustine High School. Duties may include hiring staff; establishing a competitive schedule; monitoring student-athlete academic progress and development; coordinating practice planning, skill development, and designing strategies which prepare team for competition; mentoring student-athletes; development initiatives; organizing sport camps; and budget management; collaborates with Athletics Director and school leadership team. 

Job Title Definition:

The Head Coach oversees all aspects of the varsity program, including: hires, supervises, and evaluates Assistant Coaches; establishes a competitive schedule and coordinates team travel; responds to media requests; and promotes the team; coordinates practice planning, skill development, and designs coaching strategies which prepare team for competition; establishes and enforces rules of conduct as well as mentors student-athletes to foster athletic, academic, emotional, and social growth; collaborates with athletic and school departments. Demonstrates adherence to St. Augustine High School, LHSAA, and District 9-5A rules and regulations while overseeing activities of Assistant Coaches, staff, and student-athletes to verify compliance with a clear mandate to self-report any violations; supports community service efforts by involving the coaching staff as well as student-athletes. Duties are performed at various levels within the defined title.

• To promote and contribute to the goals of the total educational program through the development of physical fitness and realization that a healthy body increases the probability of effective learning; by providing a strong program that attracts student body interests and motivates a positive learning atmosphere. 

St. Augustine High School is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Spanish Teacher.

Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Spanish language lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and the state's educational standards. Conduct assessment of student progress, providing regular feedback and developing
individualized improvement plans. Employ various teaching methods to address diverse learning styles and abilities, including immersive language learning practices. Foster an inclusive, interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and develops conversational fluency. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress and adjust learning plans as necessary.
