Durrell Jackson to participate in LSU School of Medicine Science Program
Rising senior, Durrell Jackson was selected to participate in the LSU School of Medicine, Summer Science Program. The program works to cultivate students’ interest in pursuing medical and research careers in clinical sciences. Students spend more than 4-weeks in the program during the summer. They are matched with mentors in laboratories or clinics at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Funded by the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation, this program offers intensive personalized medical school preparation. The program is offered at eleven medical schools around the country.
